Crews race traditional chalana rowing boats off Torre del Mar beach, one round of the provincial jábega league season and dedicated to the memory of Miguel Cano. It’s a fixture on the Axarquía coast’s rowing calendar, drawing club crews from along the province.
Spectators can watch for free from the Paseo Marítimo as the boats pass close to shore.
