Espeto Beach Running

Runners set off along La Misericordia beach after dark, one of several sporting fixtures squeezed into fair week, and finish to a spread of espeto — sardines grilled on skewers over an open fire, a Málaga speciality best eaten straight off the beach.

Places are limited, so anyone wanting to take part needs to register in advance rather than turning up on the night.
