Fiesta de la Cabra Malagueña — Málaga Goat Festival

Three-day festival in the whitewashed hill village of Casabermeja celebrating the purebred Málaga goat—a distinctive local breed prized for its milk and meat. The weekend fills multiple venues with artisan cheese makers, livestock shows, live cooking demonstrations, and flamenco performances alongside family-friendly workshops and farm experiences.

Highlights include guided farm visits where kids can bottle-feed kid goats, traditional verdiales dancers from Colmenar, the Black Soul cover band, and craft workshops ranging from prehistoric fire-making to plasticine sculpture. The artisan market runs throughout, selling Málaga goat cheeses, regional wines, craft beers, breads, and local produce.
