Benalauría celebrates Santo Domingo de Guzmán with its annual Moros y Cristianos street performance—a vivid reenactment of 15th-century conflict in the Mudejar period, played out across the town centre and historic quarter. The tradition, common across Andalucía, brings the community together with costumes, banners, and choreographed street theatre.
