Casarabonela’s historic centre transforms for a living recreation of the 16th-century Inquisition’s visit to the Moorish settlement. Three thousand candles light the cobbled streets as actors in period dress move between scenes, with falconry displays, archery tournaments, and traditional Moorish performances set against the backdrop of the fortified quarter.
